Physician Housecalls, a medical provider specializing in home-based primary care medicine for chronically ill and elderly patients, has acquired Mobile Medical. The combined company will now be the largest house call provider in Kansas and Oklahoma.
Physician Housecalls doesn’t set out to recruit military veterans specifically, said Hank Ross, chief executive officer. But what some people may see as challenging work doesn’t seem that difficult to medical staff members who have previously given care on a battlefield.
Physician Housecalls celebrated its 15,000th patient visit in July with patients at The Mansion at Waterford, an assisted living facility in Oklahoma City.
A health company is expanding Physician Housecalls made it’s way to the Tulsa metro. Since 2012 they have made 15,000 house calls in Oklahoma helping chronically ill patients.
Physician Housecalls, LLC (PHC) has acquired Moore Geriatrics, establishing itself as the largest provider of in-home physician services in Oklahoma. The acquisition will expand the capacity of Physician Housecalls, LLC to serve the growing number of homebound patients who suffer from multiple chronic disease problems.
