Thomas Essex, DO
Dr. Essex is a board certified internal medicine physician who has been in practice for over 25 years. Dr. Essex has practiced in a clinic setting for over 20 years as well as serving as a hospitalist for 5 years. He is also a minority owner of Physician Housecalls. Dr. Essex served in the U.S. Army and in the National Guard, retiring from service in 2012 with the rank of Colonel and having been awarded a Bronze Star. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Grady Memorial.
Rebecca Wright, DO
Dr. Wright was a registered dietitian for 15 years before entering the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. As a dietitian, she worked in the assisted living and long-term care settings as well as the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Dr. Wright has training in internal medicine and integrative medicine. She also spent several years in medical research and has provided medical care through telemedicine. Dr. Wright served as a volunteer at Rogers County Free Clinic for many years.
Ross Fisher, MD
Dr. Fisher has three decades of geriatric and complex chronic disease management under his belt. After running his own solo practice for nearly 20 years, he joined the Lexington Correctional Center of the State of Oklahoma as its Regional Supervising Physician and lead physician of the Chronic Disease Clinic. Dr. Fisher has extensive experience with outpatient geriatric care and is grounded in confidence, empathy and compassion when serving his patients.
Ian Thompson, MD
Dr. Thompson knew he wanted to be a medical professional when he was a child. He has been a physician for more than two decades, working in hospitals, family medicine, nursing homes
After serving as an intensive care nurse for the past 11 years, Antonise decided she wanted to spend more personal time with her patients. Prior to joining Physician Housecalls, she worked with several hospitals around the Tulsa area. When treating patients, she believes “the more patients, families and lives you can touch by putting smiles on their faces, always count that as a blessing.”
Bryan Lehman, MSN, APRN, NP-C
Bryan is a family nurse practitioner and U.S. Army veteran who served as a combat medical specialist-EMT in Operation Desert Storm. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Nursing and several professional certifications from the American Heart Association. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Oklahoma Association of Nurse Practitioners. Bryan has worked in health care for over 17 years. His work experience includes intensive care, surgery, occupational health, and emergency services.
Sarah earned the degree and certification of Registered Nurse in 2005. She spent her years as an RN in several areas including oncology, surgery, post anesthesia recovery, pain management procedures and hospice. She graduated from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 2015 and earned the certification of Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining the Physician Housecalls team, she was the provider in an independent family practice clinic in south Oklahoma City.
Above all, Grace values serving others. After receiving her doctorate in nursing practice from Oklahoma City University, Grace worked as a family nurse practitioner throughout Oklahoma. Grace comes from an immigrant family and is passionate about helping those in need. She particularly values the opportunity to spend significant time with patients through Physician Housecalls.
Danielle is an advanced registered nurse practitioner with more than five years of home health management experience. Prior to joining Physician Housecalls, she worked in a hospice setting. Danielle started her health care career over a decade ago and holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma HSC. She is passionate about forming meaningful relationships with her patients and became a nurse practitioner to teach the importance of making positive choices regarding their health. Danielle is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners.
Andrea has been a Physician Assistant for 12 years, practicing in general surgery and general medicine. Geriatric medicine has been a significant portion of her practice and she developed a special interest in it. She has several years of experience coordinating specialist’s care, home health services, and hospice services. Andrea is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants.
